Woof! Woof! Hello, that is!! I’m Rosco, a 6-year-old basset boy looking for my forever home.
I have been with BHRSC for a little while now, refining my skills and working on my new lot in life. I’ve reinvented myself and decided that I’d now like to be called “Rosco the Magnificent” because… well, I am!! I’m pretty famous and you’ve probably seen my handsome face plastered all over the internet. Those darned pupparazzi just won’t leave me alone!
I’m sure once you get to know me you can’t help but to fall for me!! I’m super smart and talented and know all kinds of commands; like sit, stay and drop it. I’m house-trained and love to lie around outside in the sun. You’ll probably catch me napping or humming my favorite song, “Who Let the Dogs Out?” (woof, woof, woof, woof!) I have to admit that I like all the love and attention that I can get. The great thing about me is that there’s no need for you to bring another canine into our household. Just me! (Pssst…seriously, please don’t bore me with another dog ‘cuz I’m rather choosy as to whom I wish to share my company).
Now that you have some idea about my character, let me tell you a bit about my background. I’m an ex-con. Not proud of it, but yep, I was incarcerated. Nothing serious, but the city I was in just didn’t take kindly to drifters. Don’t worry, BHRSC got me a pardon. So, whaddya say? Give a guy a second chance? I promise you’re gonna love me!
Rosco is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines and micro-chipped.
His adoption fee is $250 ($150 until May 31, 2013).
Rosco’s Foster Says: Rosco is a very special hound. He is a hound favorite at our Vet/Boarding facility and everyone wonders when he will be finding his forever home.
He has incredible energy. He is always up for a game of fetch or tug with his toys. He loves playtime so much that he will leap in the air and spin in 360 degree circles with all four feet off the ground because he is so happy to see you. He also loves working on commands and playing a game of treat toss.
Rosco is always up for a belly rub like any good hound and is very sweet and snuggly. The best of all worlds!
