Are you looking for Mr. Goodbar? Well here I am! I’m a handsome, 6-year-old male basset hound looking for a family to love me.
I’ve lived with the same family my whole life. They fell on hard times and had to move suddenly. Sadly, there was no room for me in their new place. I am absolutely confused about what has happened to me and it’s heartbreaking.
I don’t hold a grudge, and now just want to go to the very best home where I will be spoiled and adored. I want to spend the rest of my years being treated like royalty – and everyone at BHRSC says that I deserve that!!
I love going for walks and playing at the dog park. I love, love, love playing with my squeaky toys and know how to amuse myself when you’re busy. Bikes, skateboards and things that move too quickly make me a little nervous so l’d probably do best with older children. I’d do great as an only dog – I mean what could be greater than being king of the castle, right? But then again, I wouldn’t mind sharing with a nice, calm submissive queen either! In fact, I think I’d like that!
So if you can provide a loving, safe, forever home for me, along with a little patience as I transition into becoming your new best friend – I think we’ll get along just great!
Mr. Goodbar is neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.
His adoption fee is $250 ($150 until May 31, 2013).
Mr. Goodbar’s Foster Says: Mr. G is really a lover. He gets on my lap and then puts his paws on my shoulders and licks my face…..not acceptable for some, but I love it.
He really plays a lot with his basset foster sister. He has the energy of a pup and loves to play with toys and will fetch until he’s pooped. I think a family with kids would be good as they could play with him and his toys.
