Hi there, my name is Maxwell and I’m a dignified older gentleman. I’m 12 years old and things have been pretty hard lately for me. My owner died. Unable to care for me, his family took me to a shelter. I was worried that I was so old no one would come get me. Imagine my relief when the nice lady from BHRSC came and got me out of the shelter.

Now, all I need is to find another forever home. I don’t want to toot my own horn, but I’m an easy keeper. I’m house-trained, I won’t chew your shoes or dig up your garden. I will sit with you while you read, watch tv, and eat dinner. I’ll go on nice leisurely walks with you anytime you want. I’ll be so grateful if you just open your heart and your home to me.

Call BHRSC to make an appointment so we can get better acquainted.

Maxwell is neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.

His adoption fee is $250.

(This adoption fee can be discounted by 50% for senior citizens.  If you are 65 or older, ask about our Senior Program!)

Maxwell’s Foster Says:  Maxwell is a great boy and has made himself cozy in his foster home. Maxwell barks when he plays, scratches his back or when he wants his foster basset brother to move away from foster mom so he can get all the loves for himself!
